Tonight's workout was ALL legs. We did every squat and lunge you can imagine! When I first started bootcamp, I could only do a few at a time, but tonight I was able to do all of the squats and lunges. Also, tonight was the first time I thought to myself "wow, this is a really good workout" instead of "oh my gosh, I want to die". I was able to appreciate what I was doing as a workout and not just torture, lol!
As I've mentioned in the past, I like working my legs because I've seen a lot of changes in them since I've started bootcamp. I've always had big calves, but now I'm starting to see definition in them.
In between squats and lunges, we ran a little bit. Now, I do not like to run. I have always said that I only run when chased. I feel like I can't breathe when I run. But tonight, my friend Natalie "taught" me how to breathe. And I actually ran more than I (and Natalie) thought I would. So, Natalie, if you're reading this, thanks! It doesn't mean I like to run any more than I did, but at least I won't feel like I'm suffocating!
