I bet you all thought you would have heard from me yesterday as I was supposed to go to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday...a little word of advice...listen to Jen when she says drink a lot of water!!! Think of it as you are moving some of these muscles for the first time in a long time. The more water you drink, the more fluid your muscles will become literally and physically.
Today started day 2...alarm went off at 5am...got dressed, grabbed my mat fell over my own two feet looking for my shoes in the dark but off I was. When I pulled up today, I was surprised that there were already people there. Instant nerves...I would be interested to know if I am the only person that gets nervous when she exercises??
I was still a little sore from Monday, and I was grateful for the warm up exercise. Today all the exercises were totally different! I thought that was great, it really made the hour go by very quickly...yes, I said that out loud! I was clearly in the presence of ladies that have been there more than one session and instead of being intimidating...it was very comforting. It didnt make me want to overachieve to catch up and kill myself but I have a feeling maybe these girls have been where I was at one point. Jump rope is like riding a bike, you dont forget how to do it. But make no mistake, that is one heck of a cardio minute!
So here it is 7:21 and I am awake, showered and ready to start my day. It is challenging to get up that early, but once you are there and get going....thats half the battle.
Going to drink some water now...till next time!
