Better Your Best!


Weds July 7th

I have been going to boot camp for 5 months, and I am addicted. I love how everyday Jen makes up something different, which is great because you never get bored of boot camp. Some days you wonder “where in the world does she come up with this stuff?” For instance, the title of this morning’s workout was “Better your Best” we did a series of 10 different types of workouts from squats to punching with weights. Sounds fairly easy right? But today’s goal is to go through all the 10 exercises in 3 different rounds, trying to better your best reps that you completed in one minute in all of the exercises. We had written our number of reps on a piece of paper so that we didn’t forget what we did for that exercise the next time around. It was great, because we all had set personal goals for ourselves and tried our hardest to “better our best”. Mentally, we all wanted to quit, but because we had our goals, we kept on going to do the best we could do. It’s only been a couple hours since boot camp this morning and I am already sore everywhere. Cant wait to see what Jen has up her sleeve tomorrow morning.
