When people ask me about bootcamp, I kind of stumble over what we actually do there. Today, I decided to rub the sleep out of my eyes and make mental notes. Today was one of my favorite days as we break out in groups and do sessions of four sets of exercises. These four exercises varies, from burpees...(i like to call them vomits)... side bends, skaters, air squats, it goes on and on-for two minute intervals which is broken up after 4 exercises by a quick run (so I walk half of it...I am trying, really). It makes the hour go by really fast.
Have you ever been made fun of by the teacher in a group workout? I have and it will stick with you every time you exercise that it will happen again. When I get nervous- I have to remember that at Ormond Boot Camp the women there are in it for the same goals you are and there are all levels working out with no nerves, no judgement. I leave there with a full body workout, feeling accomplished and ready to start my day. Why can't I remember this feeling every morning when I try to talk myself out of working out! I almost want to write myself a note, in detail that would show up on my iphone when my alarm goes off...is that extreme?
Now that the weather is getting a tad cooler, it is the time to FALL into some new habits and a new workout regime!!
