First time Adventure Boot Camper, Jodi, shares her boot camp experience. Do you feel the burn too????
May 10th 5:30 p.m. boot camp...
Thank god there was a breeze in the air this evening because this class was a killer! This is my first boot camp and I've made it to the 2nd week! I had a baby 9 weeks ago so boot camp is definitely a challenge for me. I can honestly say that I LOVE IT! The instructor, Angie, is really good at showing modifications for every exercise so that you can work out at your own level.
Tonight we worked our bodies from head to toe! Lots of lunges and squats incorporating weights with each exercise. We worked shoulders, biceps, triceps, quads, glutes, etc. you name it, we worked it! So far there has been an obstacle course set up each night and it really helps to get your heart rate going in between sets. The skiing part of the obstacle course looked easier than it actually was!
One of my biggest weaknesses, among many, is tricep pushups. Wow! Let me just say it again, WOW! Angie makes everything look so easy when she demonstrates it and when I go to do it I can't even do one! It is my personal goal to do at least 3 in a row with proper form!
Am looking forward to what is in store for us on Wednesday night!
